Vincent wasn’t like the other guys in his 1973 graduating class. While many guys were trying to nurture a James Taylor look hoping to get the girls, Vincent was modeling his appeal on Ferrante & Teicher. He owned every album they’d ever made, been to every concert they’d performed in the Great Lakes area. When his 8-track tapes were stolen from his VW during college he couldn’t eat or sleep for days. It was during that horrible time that he met Ginny. Ginny had been watching him from afar for months. One day as Vincent sat eating his lunch, bologna with mustard on white, Ginny approached him carrying her 8-track copy of Ferrante & Teicher’s “Greatest Love Themes of the 20th Century.” She handed him the tape as he wiped his mouth with a napkin. He turned it over a few times before dropping it into his lunch bag along with the wax paper his sandwich had been wrapped in. As he stood he adjusted his glasses, looked into Ginny’s eyes, then said, “Thanks” and walked away.
Today Vincent is a blackjack dealer at a casino in upstate New York. He now listens to Ferrante & Teicher on his iPod. He owns two cats named Ferrante & Teicher. He is two payments away from owning his condo.
Umm, i didn't look at the comments on this post until just now. I guess I was sort of thinking along the same lines as J. http://roryanimates.blogspot.com/2011/02/meet-vincent.html

That's commitment to style. (Even though that was probably conservative for the time.)

Velma's long lost brother! Considering it was the 70's, the suit is actually pretty cool.
