Lee missed the 1960s completely. He was an insurance salesman in Milwaukee. Diane, on the other hand, still remembered what it was like to be single and deep in her heart wished she could dance on Bandstand now that it had moved to Hollywood. She dreamed of one cute surfer boy who was a regular on the show, but she never let Lee know.
Lee and Diane are now retired living outside Austin where they raise basenjis. Diane can often be found running her dogs through their paces at regional dog shows. Lee likes to ride his lawn tractor while wearing the iPod his grandson gave him.
