Plaid was already out of fashion by the late 1970's...wasn't it? And so were those haircuts...no? Wasn't this already the era of spandex disco pants and skinny ties? Anyway, I hope his look never ever comes back into fashion. Ever.
Ray looks like he has had a tough life of getting middle schoolers to be quiet and stop looking at the 'art' books in the back of the library during study hall. I'd be tired too.
TO JAN: The look your describing was more youth-oriented. You would only see young people wearing that in the more fashionable discos of the era. This guy is pure suburban middle school teacher. He looks like he'd be very cool and friendly. More of the "hip principal" type. Always trying to "rap" with the kids! He barely had time to straighten his tie for picture day in between checking hall passes and giving out detention notices!

Oh Ray, you sexy sexy beast. I love the "anchorman" look on you.
You can browse my headlines, anytime. Grrrrawlll.... ;)
Looks like a cross between a used car salesman and a librarian.
"Now, what do i have to do to get you in a nice book today?"

This was never actually in style but there was enough guys picking up that stuff on the cheap to make it look like a movement!

"I've got candy!".
I love his variations on the color brown.
It's a shame about Ray.
In the stone under the dust his name is still engraved...

"I want to look sophisticated, yet approachable. I'll pose in the elementary school library! That's the ticket!"
His smile is contagious
