"I don't think that you noticed, but, I, too, was alive in 1973, and that was also the year of the movie, "Exorcist."
Little bro on the left looks scared shitless; big bro on the right is trying to look brave, and the sibling he's holding probably has a head that's about to start spinning, any moment.
Meanwhile, overall, floats the head of Marduk, ancient Babylonian god of male fly-checking and the head of Hera, ancient Greek goddess and consortress, who looks really pissed because Marduk has just come home, and you guessed it: HIS fly is open!"
This is seriously, without a doubt some scary stuff goin' on here... With apologies to my German friends my first thought was that this had to be from Germany or Austria. Oma and Opa looking down on their scared shitless little ones.

WE CAN SEE DEAD PEOPLE!!!!!
They seem scared to death yet respectful of their enormous ghost parents.
I'm not sure anyone can convince me this wasn't intended as a poster for a horror film.
This is a seriously spooky picture...
So, are they supposed to look like orphans?
"Stabile family," God love you!

Am I the only one who finds this picture enormously eerie? It looks as if the kids' dead (grand)parents have just materialised in ectoplasmic form, like in a Victorian séance photo.
The Stabile family had many secrets, but in revealing them I may well invite unspecified disaster upon myself and my descendants.

Talk about having overbearing parents! Or maybe that's God and Mrs. God?
Can we say Flowers in the Attic?
The two older boys kinda look like infantile versions of John C. Reilly.
..... My two dads? Is that a woman hovering above them on the right without the mustache?
The dad is a "dead-ringer" for Tony Soprano.
