Ok, my guess is that Cory and his photographer were not getting along very well that day . . . and the photographer was somewhat passive-agressive . . . and the rest is history.
My mom has a similar photo of my brother, who pouted when told he couldn't hold his stuffed monkey in the photo. I don't know why, but Cory makes me think of a young Michael J. Fox.

Knowing where all the other teenage "Corys" from the '80's ended up, I'd be upset, too.
Cory must have spent a good deal of his time pouting in order for them to want to commemorate it on film.
hahaha heaps creepy
Dioooos! qué grande.
That is a bitchin' shirt.
He's just practising his "mean-muggin" for his future in street crime....
Why does every young child circa 1979 look like they belong on the back of a milk carton?
Redrum redrum!!!!
If Cory can't show off his disco threads in both shots, Cory gets pissed!
Wow, bipolar much?
Makes me hungry for some Sweet N'Sour Cory!
That child scares me. I feel like he's Damien's offspring...The Omen III.
