For awhile, during college, Mike did the late-late show on WKRP in Cincinnati. He started each show at 2 am with Marvin Gaye's "What's Goin' On" before his deep mellow voice came on with "Hello Baby. What's goin' on? This is Smooth Mike ready to spin you through the darkness for the next few hours. Mmmm...mmm..mm. Spin it baby, spin it."
Oh boy. I think this is my favorite. And paired with the story above (true or not, but hopefully true), Mike looks oh so radical. Right on brother, RIGHT ON.
I had that shirt in the early 70's. Made my mom get one like it & she wouldn't wear it anywhere but digging in the garden for fear that folks might think she was a hippie. I later outgrew it and bought me another one like it & a yr or so ago another one similar to it.
