What? They weren't capable of having a daughter?

I'm in total awe of this mother. Actiually to get such good photos of so many people at that age at once is miraculous.

Those parents are indeed sexy peoples. And they have proven it.

LOVE it! What sexy lads they all turned out to be!

Wow! Eight boys! That must've been one crazy, loud house growing up.

My heart skipped a beat....EIGHT BOYS!!!! And that woman is not in a straight jacket in that last pix? God love her! I have five boys and the looney bin is closing in on me!!!

Mom looks good for being the mother of 7!

They don't look like brothers at all. They look like a bunch of people who happened to wander in the camera frame at the same time.

Oh my god that woman is a saint.

You know, it's really hard to keep track of who turned into who with this progression.

Anonymous said...

I don't even know what to say... at least there's ONE good-looking one in the bunch...

they sure don't look related though. I know a family with 7 boys but they definitely look related.

They look great. And what I like most about these photos is that they're all together in every single one of them.

P.S. to the other anonymous: You don't gotta look related to be related. I'm the oldest of five from the same set of parents and we all look different.

Anonymous said...

I vote mormons, not enough flava to be Catholics.

Anonymous said...

I agree with earlier anonymous about don't have to look related to be related. I have 2 kids and they look absolutely nothing alike, infact complete opposites. One is tall, one is short, one has brown eyes and blonde hair the other has brown hair and blue eyes, you name it, its different! Yes, they have same parents lol.

This was a master piece. I have studied these photos trying to see who is who. I guess these guys are in their late 50's now.

And please, no need to say the V word...TMI

Great pics, there is w-a-a-y too much to comment on. There's the turtle neck and general 70's attire, the baby almost out of the frame, etc. but I'm going to disagree with several others, I think these guys look a lot alike, and at least one of them is easy to track. One guy never smiled.
First pic, bottom left
Second pic, top left
Third pic, bottom right
Fourth pic, third from the left top row.
You can also tell the youngest one through the three pics he's in.
Wouldn't it be cool to find out what they're doing now??

Check out the boy on the left making a peace sign!! The only hint of non-subservience! The pictures look so posed and perfect otherwise! Brilliant!

Hi! I'm the mother of these 8 sons. They are all from one mom and one dad. I am still sane...have many grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The boys are all "A" personalitiers so, yes, it was a noisy but happy house. They are all still great friends. There is a resemblance between all of them -- blue eyes, blond hair when young, brown hair when older. They range in age from 53 down to 40. After #4 son, I did not want a daughter ...just as well because it would have been very hard having all those brothers. Our name is not Poulson and they are all "cool" dudes and good looking. Catholics -- not Mormons, although one son is a Mormon Convert. And, not a subservient one in the bunch. That's about it.

they all look like upstanding citizens but surely a couple of them have some skeletons in their closets? with that many, someone must be addicted to something or bankrupt or a cross-dresser (except during family photos).

molly for president!

All things considered, Mom looks great in the last picture, like she could have been the only sister. I second the comment - that would have been one crazy household to grow up in.

Eladio said...

No one mentioned that in the last photo there are NINE men and 1 woman. I assumed the woman was not a sister, but merely the wife of the dude holding her arm. If that's the case...I'd assume there's partner in there with someone?

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

That's me (the youngest) and the family name is wrong.
We were raised catholic and all you haters need to
get a life. We are a very loving family and my mom is a
saint.

A message to the actual family. Thats what we do at Sexy People. We look at the portraits, the make cruel comments. Don't take it personally.

Ha. How can one not take it personally? Clearly this photo was put up without the family's permission; the family name wasn't even right. I'd love to see you put up your photo and sit back and laugh with everyone who makes "cruel comments" and slams how you look. You can talk the talk, but I bet you can't walk the walk.

[Renzo, you have a cool blog and I love looking at the portraits, but if you're putting up photos without people's permission you should better moderate comments by weeding out the ones that are downright insulting. These people didn't ask to get slammed publicly on your blog.]

My first thought was oh dear lord please let this poor woman have her own bathroom that was off-limits to the boys. Even if it was a 5x5 half-bath powder room. Something pink and fluffy with florals. She would need an escape from all that testosterone.

Awesome write-up, I am a huge believer in placing comments on weblogs to allow your blog editors know they've created something of value to the web!

As the daughter of one of men in these photos can tell you
1. This is NOT the correct last name of my family
2. They still look the same as the last photo
3. The woman in the last picture is my wonderful grandmother and yes she does look amazing for having 8 boys
4. It is amazing being part of this family!

And to the person who posted these how did you even get these photos?
