I'm assuming these are high school senior portraits...isn't it weird how much OLDER high school students looked back in the 80s and 90s? Eek...invasion of the Andrea Zuckermans!
I'll say it again. . . the 80s styles aged young people. The only people who looked good were the Golden Girls. Everybody else looked ridiculous.
Heck, when girls have to compete with "manly men" rock bands with large hair, nothing good can come of it.
I graduated in '91, and I'm so glad I had natural hair, never permed and never used hairspray. I didn't get dates, but oh well. I don't think I lost out on much.
I graduated in 2001. I too have a photo of myself "sitting" atop my graduation year. I use the quote because if I had actually attempted to sit on the rickety thing I would have brought it and myself to the ground.

These photos was taken in 1991... Are you sure?
Hilarious to think now that these were the girls all the other girls wanted to be like...
The hair hadn't yet calmed down from the 80s infusion of Aquanet.

¡Parecen los muñequitos de su propia tarta de cumpleaños! ¡Que nadie sople!
Were the numbers really necessary? I think the hair and clothes screamed the '90s! XD
Nice Photo
You guys don't know what it was like...back in '91, those numbers followed us around everywhere, day and night. It was terrible.
