Do people send you their own pictures? (People with healthy levels of self-esteem and the ability to laugh at themselves sometimes, of course) humor and therapy! What a great concept!
Oh, portrait with the floating face next to it! I thought those were so cool at the time, and I didn't understand why my mother disagreed. Now I understand.

he's not all that bad, I think it's the glasses from the 70's and 80's that make it look worse.
Just like cheese, gets better with age :)
whoah, looks like the stuffed bunny is set to spring some wickedness upon the poor child.
oh dear.
that's the real deal.

oh picture 6 (plaid shirt, fully buttoned)! has the unmistakable retainer smile. a tragic time for all. why the bunny in pic 7?
I am so glad those frames have gone out of style. So wrong.
massive!
Sean! You got the full Monty, from the double face to the cute little shirts, the vests, the mop top hair cuts--you totally rock it all!
He had such potential...
i think you mean steve merchant
It looked like Sean was going to be a full on Tom Petty sort of rocker, up until the glasses...
But where is Sean now??? It stops at 88!
Things started to slip when the glasses first appeared, then spun dangerously out of control by 1988. I wonder what 1990 looked like?
The mystery will always be: Did he turn out hot or not?
He turned out totally hot
He turned ou totally hot
In my best Ted Knight impression. "Hmmmmmmmm Monroe!"
Sean, where are you? I think I love you!
he turned out hotter than hot, scored a hot wife and the cutest kids I know.
He looks like a young Craig James in the last photo.
(FYI, Craig is a recently retired meteorologist from Grand Rapids, MI's NBC affiliate)
Aww, he got to be a cutie by the time he was a teen. He does look like Stephen Merchant! That was my first thought...
he looks like peter parker...do we have a real spiderman in the making?
I found 9 portraits at a thrift store very similar to Sean's. They progress the kid as a baby, to a child and then he gets big, thick glasses.
He was cute, got cuter and cuter, and then.... the nerd glasses.
that dutch-boy haircut is the shit!
ADORABUHLS!
Jacob Reynolds. Gummo. 1997.
Haha, totally looks like Mark from the American show Step by Step xD
Gummo was exactly what came into my mind too. Great pics!

He turned out very Spiderman-ish!
4th picture totally looks like Charlie Bucket from the Willy Wonka movie.
