Are the numbers their ages? I think they are! Amazing.

A family that plays together - stays together ... that is scary and do all the family like team sports or is that just a "look"

Are they all labeled with their ages? Oh my, that's something.

Deb said...

I'm guessing the numbers are their ages...if so, #16 must be the female version of Benjamin Buttons.

...and whose idea was this theme??

*shakes head* and the jerseys show their ages too! Does the cleverness ever end?

Fitch said...

What's great is that that's obviously their ages.

Kati said...

Oh God. Did they get special shirts with their ages on, JUST for this photo?

Anonymous said...

are the numbers on the jerseys their age? because mom (38) looks younger than the girl on (16.

How sad that the parents though it necessary to advertise everyone's age.

PunkyPower said...

Well, at least the shirts solve the age-old question of "Remember when Mom made us wear those stupid jerseys for that photo? What year was that again?"

Neal Snow said...

Hahaha, that's f'n great. I bet they're a bland bunch that thinks they're "hip", and God bless them for it.

And that's how a man compensates for trying his best but yet never having a boy. His dreams of football games crushed, he finally gives up and reverts to free jersey night at the family photographer instead. LOL!

How high are these people perched to make them look that far down and to the left?
And, oh my... ages on the shirts....

say what you will....the family that plays together stays together.

I like this family photo. Nice to see family spirit.

let me guess - this was dad's idea? mom thought the matching khaki pants and denim shirts would look better on the christmas card but she gave in to dad so he would quit whining.

Only one commment about the family with no sons? Stay tuned.. Oh yea Father will have his son. I was happy when my brother came.. hahahaha yea

harvey k-tel said...

16 definitely does not look impressed.

Brooke said...

Dad is the only one who looks truly happy to be part of this ensemble...

If those are their ages then they only had one year of accurate jersey wearing fun...planning fail.

John the Revelator said...

16's numbers are reversed.

Julian Moffatt said...

Jeeeesus. Which one is his wife? Maybe they are morons.

Anonymous said...

Maybe #16 isn't a daughter? Maybe she's an aunt?

Anonymous said...

So there's five girls dressed in football jerseys. So the dad has no issues with the fact he didn't have a boy? Dude, get over it!

Laura E. said...

I adore this...so creative with the ages!!!

I'm not to be held responsible as I'm clearly too young to have done anything about this photo being taken.

It pretty much rules though, huh? ;)

This pic was taken in 1996? It looks like 1986! Where do these people live to have hair like that in the late 90's???

Anonymous said...

Actually it was 1986...the caption is wrong. ;)

I love how one comment said, "they are probably bland" This family of girls (now women) is anything but bland!!! One of the neatest families I've ever met! AB
