Had to photographers first day, why in the world would you put the dark skinned black guy in the back, away from the light???
@lucie - I think the front row person must be a girl, girls in front, boys in back.

The pitch--"ok, we have the perfect cast for our sitcom--the angry black girl, the smart hispanic girl, the funny black guy with the crazy haircut, and that leaves us with, uh,...four white dorks...ok, back to the drawing board".

Isn't this that band The Parachute Club?

These kids remind me of when I was in the 6th grade. A group was actually formed by our school counselor around myself and a couple other kids that... um... well, we all basically had no friends. Hehe. So, we all met once a week, played charades and talked about our feelings. Every race was represented in our group and since it was the early 90s we were pretty much dressed just like these kids. And looking just as awkward. :D We actually filmed an anti-smoking PSA at the end of the year that was shown on local TV for the next like five years... oh, lawdy.

Are those the kids off of "Saved by the Bell"

I thought Degrassi... perhaps I am showing my age?

Totally awesome pic. ;)

These people, they do deserve each other.

What, no token Asian kid? :(

Don't mess with them. They were the 1990 enrollment students for Professors X's school of gifted mutants.

If they're all really friends, they sure had a lot of fun hanging about together. Sexiness is just icing on the cake.

There's a picture that could find a home in a school health text book.

It's not "saved by the bell", but it must be "head of the class". jeez.

My friend and I were recently discussing about how involved with technology our daily lives have become. Reading this post makes me think back to that discussion we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes less expensive, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about almost every day.
