my coworker's son absolutely LOVES to vacuum. they bought him toy vacuums all his life and for christmas this year, they bought him a dyson. so, this picture is of a kid who a) loves to vacuum or b) is never told 'no'.... "mommy, i want to wear THIS and i want to take my VACUUM..and i want, i want..."
I have looked and looked at this picture. My brain can not come up with an explanation as to what is going on? Perhaps some foreign super hero popular in he late 80's, but why the vac?

OMG. Vacuums are bad-ass when you're a five year old boy: loud and powerful. Plus they're futuristic looking, like rockets. And thus the connection with his costume. Makes complete sense!
