So, Dracula's (aka Wayne) mother is the Bride of Frankenstein? That's not Frankenstein in the photo though. He looks more like Lurch from The Addams Family.
The family portrait is a masterpiece that should be hanging in the Tate Gallery...or perhaps the nearest science museum. I can't wrap my head around that hairdo. It defies the laws of physics!
As the Jeffery of "wayne and jeffery", i must say that we didn't turn out so bad...time was good to us in the end. Mom actually used to wrap that hair in a bag before going to bed so it wouldn't get damaged. Good times. :)
I really thought Horatio & Ruben were gonna RULE this site for a long time... but they've already been dethroned by the awesomeness of this family. I have truly never seen anything like them. There must be a story behind this -- who are they? Where are they now? Was the father a murderous doctor from Connecticut?
Awww. I think they got much cuter as they got older. But Mom was not doing those boys any favors with those hairdos. Of course, my brother had the bowl cut until he progressed to a flat-top in jr. high. The late 70's/early 80's were not good times for boys' hairdos either.
I love this family photo. I adore mother's hairstyle. She is a woman full of fantasy. And the father is shy. He seems to be a kind man. It is a beautiful family portrait :)

Well now we at least know why they appeared so scared in those other photos. Mom's hair and Dad's scary mask were standing behind the photographer.

OMG - now we know! Mystery solved! Wayne and Jeffery finally got old enough to realize that the thing on mom's head was hair and not a sibling.
