She currently subscribes to Nylon magazine and is a fan of artists that incorporate bodily fluids in their work. She has a nautical star tattoo. While those back home would label her "edgy", the unironic Clay Aiken posters in her bedroom belie a girl desperately trying to fit in a social group that is more pretentious than she could ever hope to be.
I can totally relate to Jilian. I was just like that. wanted to be hip and awesome but was not!! I hope Jilian grew up to have a fabulous hair cut with no bangs.
