"Harold? We must get a portrait taken of you before you pass on. You may borrow one of my husband's suits, and you may use the study for the shoot." "Yes, madam. Thank you." "Oh and Harold? Bring me some more brandy." "Right away, madam."
"Actually, Bill's my older brother. We haven't spoke much since he 'accidentally' shot his wife. And don't get me started on the whole heroin thing. We do have a few of his books on the shelf though".
If I had a library like that in my house, I'd totally pay that guy to stand in there for 8 hours a day, just to add to the overall effect of the room. A guy like that would probably also add some genuine Old Guy Smell to the rich fragrance of leather bound books and oak paneling. Great way to complete the effect.

Welcome in my crypt!
You have been missed, Olan Mills.... It's been too long since we've been blessed with your artisitic brilliance. Welcome back, old friend.

"I can't smile....I forgot to bring my teeth."
mmmm Olan Mills was the KING of creative backdrops.
I thought vampires couldn't be photographed...

This picture represents the apex of western civilization and possibly that of mankind altogether.
This has to be an advertisement for a funeral home.
Otherwise, dead people don't take good pictures.
Is that Roman Grant?
Is that photo actually taken in a study or are those books painted on that background?
Hummm 1969 "année érotique"...
Is Harold still alive nowadays?
I'm sorry but he is sexy...I heart old retro library pics!
Didn't this guy grow up to star in Deep Space Nine?
Are those tinted glasses? Harold, you sly dog. Would he look better without the glasses? or just as scary, but different scary?
My God. When I see Olan Mills my brothers and I get that creepy cringe that goes deep into our souls...I still have nightmares about it.
proffesor plum did it in the library with the candlestick.
I have seen this photo in real life. I am either distantly related or went to church with this guy as a child.
I am not even kidding a little.
This guy is AWESOME.

This Guy looks exactly like the Main Character in the Pixar shortfilm "Geri´s Game". Have a look:

I think I know this guy. Doesn't he have a moonshine still in his barn?
Looks like the restaurant critic from Ratatouille!!!
Something about this picture says '89 not '69. Maybe it's the gold embossed Olan Mills or the library backdrop seen in so many '80's portraits.
Where's Harold? all I see is a badly painted backdrop with some shelves, books, and a librarian on it.
the grand moff tarkin is looking hawt! this was from the promo packet for the grand opening of the death star.
Why the long face, Harold?
