Okay, in 1972 those glasses were totally geeky. My heart bleeds for the lunch room geers and ridicule poor Judith must have endured. LIVE ON HORNED RIMS!!!
I bet her guidance counselor just stamped "future housewife" on her file and sent her on her way. I'm picturing her scrubbing the toilet in heels and pearls like Mrs. Cleaver.
Judy is always just a little behind the times. Even Marlo Thomas had ditched the flip by '72. My Grandmother wouldn't have been caught dead in those cat-eye glasses in the 70's. Poor baby screams "makeover"!
Ok, I'm going to have to chime in here and say Judith is/was the queen of the brainiacks!!! This chick scored the highest on the ACT's back in the day! She was a hot piece to the dudes in the AV Club and the teachers LOVED her! She probably is everybody's boss and makes more money than anyone in her class! Rock and roll, Judith!
